Dr. Francis Ting is professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at South Dakota State University. He holds a BS degree from the University of Manchester, and a MS and a PhD degree from the California Institute of Technology. He teaches fluid mechanics and hydraulic engineering and conducts basic and applied research in river and coastal hydraulics.
