Join this webinar to explore results, best practices, and lessons learned from implementations of Diverging Diamond Interchanges (DDIs) and Continuous Flow Intersections (CFIs) in Utah. Presenter Yu “Fred” Song, PhD, will also discuss the establishment of performance metrics and evaluation criteria for assessing the success and effectiveness of these innovative intersection designs, thereby supporting their planning, design, and implementation. Dr. Song’s research focuses on traffic operations and safety, driver behavior, intelligent transportation systems, and vehicle automation. Prior to joining the University of Wyoming, he served as a researcher with the Connecticut Transportation Institute at the University of Connecticut.
