Chenxi Liu is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Utah. His research focuses on AI-powered intelligent transportation systems, connected and automated vehicles (CAVs), and V2X-enabled sensing for traffic safety and system resilience. Dr. Liu has published over 40 papers in leading transportation journals and AI conferences and leads multiple federally and state-funded research projects. His contributions have been recognized by TRB, ASCE, USDOT, and IEEE. He is an active member of several ASCE committees and serves as an associate editor for multiple top journals and conferences in the field.
