Professor Sherry joined the faculty of the University of Denver in 1985 and became the Executive Director of the National Center for Intermodal Transportation in 2003. He is a Research Professor with a specialization in occupational psychology at the University of Denver and has studied the safety culture, the hours of service and the effects of critical incidents on transportation as well as sleep and fatigue and job performance. He has taught Career and vocational psychology and consults extensively on executive leadership development. He is a licensed psychologist and a Fellow of the Academy of Counseling Psychology.
